I'm starting a running group!

I've made the announcement, we'll see if anyone shows up on Saturday.

I've talked with a few guys at church who have expressed interest in either starting to run or wanting a group to run with, so I finally took it upon myself to set this thing up. I know there are several runners around, so hopefully we'll have a good turnout. I'm really excited about it. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time. I tried once before we moved here, but it just didn't work out. Hopefully this one will be more successful. I'll let you know how it goes.

You tried to start a running group at your church before you lived there and attended that church? Well, duh! It obviously wasn't going to work. :)
Way to step up to a leadership role!

Way to take charge!

If we have a story for your blog that might interest you, where can we send it to?

Annie, just out of curiosity, what kind of story do you have in mind? And who is "we"? Do you mean you'd like to write something for my blog or have me write about something you send me? Thanks for your interest in my blog.

Sounds like a terrific idea, and I'm sure it will work out this time. Funny, I was just thinking that it would be fun to have people to run with... maybe a future goal for me too!

Hi Reid,

I'm doing the promotion for a documentary reality-film called "Beyond the Epic Run". It is about a guy who ran around the world. The film is being submitted to Sundance, Tibeca, Cannes, and more. It is a very inspiring story. Check out blog at www.beyondtheepicrunblog.com

I was hoping I could send you the information, and you would like to write about it for your blog. I could even arrange a phone interview with the runner, Serge.
Let me know what you think. Thanks, Annie

HI Reid

Best of luck and I hope you get a great turnout!

BTW, I noticed the new posting picture from Boston and you look like you are having so much fun. If everyone even thinking about doing a marathon could see that picture, we would have a whole bunch of converts.

Best of luck with everything.

Congrats on starting a running group!! I have always wanted to start one but have not yet done so. I recently started my own running blog and had a post a few days ago about running clubs in New York City. Check it out if you're interested"
